Medibank things you should consider, page-23

Hi,

I have been directed to http://www.phio.org.au/downloads/file/PublicationItems/SOHFR2013.pdf which supports my decision to not touch Medibank Private (MBP) for more than 1 day.

Per page 10 of http://www.phio.org.au/downloads/file/PublicationItems/SOHFR2013.pdf , MBP has the highest complaints rate of all health insurers in Australia.

Is it a criminal offense or similar if this material information about MBP is left out of the prospectus? If I buy, looking to sell immediately, but the market crashes because MBP is crap, could this failure to disclose material information lead to legal class action and eventual reimbursement?

About me: I've only just progressed from lurking to posting on Hotcopper because I'm an escaped auditor, now working for other listed entities, where any disclosure may be career-ending and ASIC do not need search warrants.
