There has always been a fixed charge on my bill, which I particularly despise, as I am unable to exercise any control over it.. This represents the price we are paying for Governments,of both political persuasion, allowing the system to be gold plated.
But Dave it is hard to believe that this is the first time, as you declare, that a fixed charge has appeared on your bill, as it has ALWAYS appeared on my bill. Are you suggesting that Qld State Governments, in the past, have been subsidising your power bills?
