animals are not like us because they do not possess empathy & reflective reasoning

most non-two-legged animals live in harmony with natural balance, generally only eating when hungry & having sex for reproduction. Buddhism, for example, states that non-two-legged animals do not engage in karma since they are mostly programmed by genetics

that said, animals do not possess empathy & reflective reasoning. when they are hungry, they will kill indiscriminately. when they have emotions, like lust or anger, they will lash out immediately, without any reflection of the consequences

    two-legged animals are the same.

for example, the two-legged animal invades other lands (like Australia). their human facility creates a human ideal (such as we will not harm the natives) but whenever a native stands in the way of their emotional desires (such as wanting land to make money) they will indiscriminately kill or steal from the native people

this is animal behaviour & want distinguishes humans from animals

humans follow the golden rule taught by every religion. in respect to killing, stealing, adultery, slander, etc, they love others the same as they love themselves
