Let's explain to you because you are slow to learn.
Start up companies often incur large losses before they can make money....This does not make them "losers".
You understand better by example....Take a random name like BGS , it has large accumulated losses & will be making losses for years to come....But it is building solid foundations to become a major mining house & will create huge wealth to shareholders.....Does this explain it better.
