Only a week to go to see what will happen, I guess if it's a 51/49 odd scenario then your "guess" could be considered close to mark IMO, if it's more of a 70-80 percent majority I say it was just blowing smoke and the company was taking all measures to ensure the 30% (of total float) odd votes needed to pass resolutions took place, remember that 50% odd are held here in Oz!
as for the Insto's, well some of them are the ones placing $1bln odd NPV's on the latest Sanofi deal, so I doubt they have many probs with it all.
