The facts are that had MSB not done the Osiris deal they would be nowhere.......except with CHF. Which would be their 1 shot Hail Mary pass. Which frankly it still is if you think about it.
All the other trials and products they have are all window dressing.

If CHF falls over then I think MSB is finished. So far the results back them up but how LONG it took them to get going, the fact it was clearly obvious TEVA was unsure, the fact that MSB's CHF is *not* within TEVA"s not stated Strategic Cores is of some concern as well.

In short given all thos other things I think that CHF is perhaps not quite as awesome as we maybe think it is. Otherwise TEVA would surely have been falling over themselves to get this p3 quickly. They didn't.

Regards TEVA's core areas however I think that it is what it is. If CHF has great results they will keep it 100% guaranteed. Who wouldn't? So from that perspective its a non-issue.
However what makes TEVA's strategic areas as stated an issue as that the more likely outcome is the CHF results fall somewhere in the middle. They work and do "ok" but don't change much with patients from current methods.
In that case is far more questionable whether TEVA would stick with it given its not core.

Rounding back to my first sentence though the fact MSB had to do the Osiris deal was clearly born out of a very very delayed realization that they are majorly behind the curve of where they should be in terms of getting to market. Surely thats clear to everybody by now.
As Kakala has pointed out quite a few times and other posters too.

MSB is a problem child for delays.
