That scurrilous source ZeroHedge has provided a few charts this morning. I think this one tells an interesting story ... the main volume spike coincides with the release of the NFP number. I interpret that as somebody waiting on that number before deciding on a bet..... the market then seems to have agreed.

I am interested in how the volume is derived. Is it tick volume or real ounces changing hands?
If the former than it can me misleading sometimes because a transaction or tick is just a price change regardless if a big or tiny transaction. But on face value that volume does stick out like a sore thumb!
