Do you think any of them would really be looking at a lower price for their investment? You do not need much analysis to suggest that the higher the better. The higher the sp is, the greater their wealth and the ability to leverage off this.

I really cannot understand why any investor would want a lower sp. Their will be significant holdings outside SPM/SPI. The sp will be a function of the earnings and yield. So qducker is correct, IMO, when he suggests that his analysis based on earnings implies a particular sp range for CSD.

Please refer Sherwin Iron. Citizen International, a Hong Kong listed investment company, 70 % shareholder, blocked CR, sent company into administration. Sherwin was at production stage. Having a majority shareholder with effective control is not always an advantage.
