Minoil. Sells/bids are settled up at approx 4.10pm. You really should know this stuff before you start outlaying very much $$$s. There is a lot of basic info about how the market works on the ASX website.

Some things about trading the market are very difficult to explain in single paragraph posts cos they involve intuitive strategies. Peeps also forget that this is a long term game. Picking a winning stock and thinking you have got it all figured out is like someone going to the races and picking a horse cos they like its name.

Imagine that you have to find a girl/boyfriend and get married every day. How much different would that scenario be to the actual process?

Everyone here who gives up trading does it because they have lost money, not because they have made too much.

So you have two jobs. One is how to make money on the market. Even more important. How not to lose money on the market. You need both skills.
