Agreed however universally the rest of the world has said that EVEN SO - to use a terror mechanism simply is unacceptable.
Once the oppression has been overpowered they are often elevated from terrorist to freedom fighter.If they lose , they remain terrorists.
Often true but again that is politics and expediency at work. Certainly not what is deemed to be right &/or wrong
Look at other struggles around the world and parallels can be drawn , Kurds, Ireland , Palestine, Sri Lanks etc etc
Yes indeed...look at them except the PLO. For the most part they attacked what where for them were targets made up of their enemy and mostly govt or militray targets.
In the IRA almost always there was a warning.
The AQ genre (including of course the Pa lestinians) have simply said "your civilians are our targets".
Therein lies THE significant departure.
And even worse they have indicated a desire to make them mass casulaty events. Chmeical, biological or nuclear.
