They have to go into a trading halt as soon as they receive the results. They can't wait and review them first - the halt has to be actioned immediately because they now have price sensitive information.
Pretty sure this is not the case As long as results aren't leaked then there is no reason for a trading halt. They must have had results collated to a level that a definitive announcement can be made. The timing may involve how best to present and legals running their ruler over it etc etc.
