re: pantherman nono, copper and others forecast to Iron ore prices declining? Really.

Consider this , which you don't even mention.
Currently China imports 1400 tonnes of Uranium. This will increase to 24,000 tonnes in the future.
Australia has 40% of known world uranium. Compared to the next largest known resource of Uranium, Olympic Dam is 13 times bigger. There are plans to quadruple the 4400 tonnes produced last year.
It takes about 8 years from resource discovery to a producing uranium mine. BHP already have one.
It's almost a no brainer that BHP via Olympic Dam are going to be big suppliers of Uranium to China in the VERY near future (rapid development potential?) And we're talking about a resource that has doubled in price in the last 12 months!! Load up on BHP me thinkx and sit back in your rocking chair and watch the action.

Hint: BHP is the sponser of the Beijing Olympics on the Minerals side and will provide some of the medals.

This is not investment advice, just my opinion.

I hold BHP and call options on NYSE.
