Hm... $2.5k worth. Maybe someone had decided to stuff LYC and thought 'it will cots the buggers more than that to do the paperwork and issue the shares, and then the ANN.'
Unfortunately it just adds a few more $ to the overheads for this 1/4. Now if we see a series of these small conversions then maybe there really is a conspiracy out there.
Alternatively it is a poor mum and dad investor not understanding the maths involved. In which case they may be better off putting their $ with a fund manager!
Lastly it could have been a complex instrument based on the DOW going up tonight - who knows?
