Obama has caught the Gillard disease. As she was on the ropes during her term, she'd promise the world eg an NDIS that would bankrupt us, provide no funding and announce it as an "achievement".

Obama is as lame a duck as they come after the elections. He can promise any reduction he likes - to zero if he wanted - knowing he'll soon be gone.
The only ones who don't see the bleeding obvious are the Greens, the ABC and certain sections of the media who don't understand what critical analysis is.
