Unfortunately as Geopromining is a unlisted company we cannot determine if the project is still achieving 92% recoveries. I would like to be certain as i see this as a big positive for the future of PGI if this is still true.

The Geopromining process is producing a concentrate(from the flotation stage) of around 45 to 50grams a ton and processing this through the albion process.

This is exactly the same as what PGI is proposing with their concentrate process with the only difference being that the concentrate is shipped to Las Lagunas for processing.

This article also highlights that the use of non tailings feed seems to be the major difference between the 2 operations.

As for the chinese using the technology the last quarterly report says PGI are in the process of a formal agreement with Xstrata which will give them exclusive rights for the next 5 years.

""The formal agreement, which is currently being drafted, will contain provisions for PanTerra Gold and its nominated associates to have exclusive rights to Licences for the use of the Albion process in China, for a period of five years."
