Correct Mansell57. My involvement with BCI started in 2007 and ended in March this year. 7 years. I owned the stock both in and out of my super, learned a fair bit about the industry in the process, spoke to management personally on various occasions and was collectively inside the top 40 holders.
The only time I sold was earlier this year when my belief that the IO price would hold in the face of rising supply and a dwindling Chinese property / steel market started looking dubious and the dollar was persistently high. No future in any of that for iron ore stocks I thought.
I sold the lot and should have sold earlier, at the peak of course but I am not that smart. I waited, partly for tax reasons which is the silliest reason of all.
