re: government decision not close at all mmm..... taking the naive view, CAZ should win hands down. It should be open and shut case decideable almost on the spot. Lease expired, lease taken up by another party, and they walk away with it.....

that's obviously the wrong way to think about it - if that were the case then the decision would have been made ages ago.

so we are left with a complex of issues both legal and political - couldn't be a murkier combination - anything could happen. And for that reason it's a heads/tails bet. That much is clear if nothing else is.
