"sounda, are you suggesting that if the ASX closed tomorrow for 5 years the inherent value in VXL could not be realised?"

No idea - but it is not a company, in my opinion, where one would want the ASX to close for 5 years. I suspect that that is what Buffet would argue as well.

However, I wouldn't care if my TLS shares didn't trade for 5 years.

The Buffet quote uses the notion of a closed exchange to highlight the point of investing confidence. And that confidence is built upon a number of key business and economic principles. VXL is not there yet and that is what makes it a spec company. And if they continue to misstep and remain coy on important info then they may not get there. That has been the entire point behind recent arguments put forward by myself, m0ngy and others.

My point in my last reply to you was that the Buffet quote that you used applies to companies like TLS e.g. and not VXL (currently). That is why I noted that you had misapplied the concept of value investing.

Please follow the discussion. You quoted Buffet in relation to SP's and VXL - not me. I merely pointed out the problems associated with the logic of using that quote alongside a point of view promoting VXL.
