Absolutely no need for a designated prayer room watso. Its called marketing. The afl is trying to expand their audience and if they can provide an unused room on the day for Muslims to pray, it will make things easier and potentially increase attendance without it costing the AFL any extra money. The MCG is a classic example. A prayer room has been there for a long time. this was never an issue when people weren't aware as it doesn't change the matchday experience. Commercial decision watso. You know how corporations work - will do everything for money and image.
