There will be the standard response and defense from the banks..twas rogue traders. One could come to the conclusion that Banks are full of rogues, no matter which bank, where etc?

But, there are real issues with the culture in banks (lets not mention some other parts of the financial industry), and this is not going to change until some of the rogues do time in the cells, and some of the management whose accountability was to manage the "rogues" are dealt with in a manner commensurate with the crime. One could equally as quickly as jump to the conclusion, that the Management practices in the biggest and the best leaves a lot to be desired
