Long term growth prospects?, page-2

I'm similarly conflicted. Doubled down personally and with the parent's SMSF so hoping it all works out. Always hard to go against the market, but hey, there's enough evidence out there of the market being wrong and people making their fortunes out of it. I also don't understand the massive discrepancy between ALL and AGI and don't think the acquisition by ALL could justify the degree of discrepancy (its trading on 30+ x earnings vs. AGI's 13...). AGI has more capacity for growth, as the smaller player, and is clearly positioning itself for such internationally with the new headquarters in Nevada. I'm disappointed I bought in around $3, but have a target price around its past highs (hey, maybe I'm too optimistic but let's see what they can do with earnings). [It'd be great if AGI's share price could pull off what ALL did between 2003 and 2007...]. Certainly expecting to hold for a couple of years as I expect future earnings growth internationally, but any sign that this slowed profit growth is protracted or company-specific and I may reconsider holding. I'm not what you would call an experienced investor and certainly am not offering advice here, just my take on it!
