I guess major holders are hoping for a miracle, probably similar mindset to those small retail holders living in hope. It is always easier to buy than it is to sell. Why make a takeover offer at these levels, they could let it go into administration and buy it even cheaper, like Seven have done with NXS. Another scenario would be let it go into administration and buy it from receivers and take it private, gets rid of all those pesky retail shareholders that ask questions. It is like watching a poker game, waiting to see who flinches first.
