As far as dedicating my life working to support a property . As previously disclosed on this forum , my properties self fund these days . They're positively geared so I'll have to pay a little extra tax this year unfortunately .
So no , I don't have to dedicate my life to support my property , just as I don't have to go live in another country just to afford a $150 a week beach house .
It's funny the comment you make being a slave to property . If you had never bought property previously , you wouldn't have had any money to fund your " several thousands a week " lifestyle that you allegedly have now .
