the bloke has made a huge life decision, and has come on here to get patted on the back and gain some validation. you telling him he is a loser (which was a fair assessment IMO) was always going to end in tears.
completely agree. you don't own your own place for you and your family to call home by the age of 40 = you're a loser. even living the high life throwing money around you should still be able to afford a house by then... saving $50 a week from the age of 20 would give you more than a $50k deposit...
