I had a brief period of this in my late teens. Very unpleasant. At the time my parents were not getting along (later divorced) but it was causing a fair bit of upset for us kids....Anyway, grew out of it....finished high school, joined the military....went far away for years...and then stayed far away...for a couple more decades.....that all helped....and problem gone forever....A doc told me I should have PTSD but no....if a time machine opened in my living room to take me back to Vietnam....I'd jump thru in a heartbeat.......Really felt alive then....it was all happening....I actually liked it....I'm sure I'm not the only one...
