The "media" seem intent on referring to the delivery that struck Phillip Hughes as being a "bouncer".
I'm hearing it constantly. But, when you look at the replay, the ball appears to pitch just short of a length, and definitely in the batsman's half of the wicket.
That's no "bouncer". But, the ball did get up from that length, more than what would normally be expected.
But, it matters not. I'm sure everyones thoughts are with Phillip, his family, team mates and the young bowler.
