    Was that $300 per bedroom ? just joking.

    Probably $400 will get something ok.Being in the centre of Melb puts you near bay and river water but not surf.

    The quickest run to any surf beach from Melb is 20 mins past Geelong.That means about 70 min run from Melb central.

    From Mordialloc to Frankston the choice is unlimited.
