Demand for new housing is high in Perth.
A segment on channel 9 news said the following:
There are some 30,000 house plans drawn waiting to be built but there is only 5,000 brickies in Perth.
Some brickies are charging $2 a brick to be laid. A good brickie can lay 1,000 bricks a day.
Good money for them.
