The supposed high level of government debt we keep hearing about in Australia is trivial. It's only about 14% of GDP whereas household debt is over 100% of GDP.
It's this record level of household debt that has driven house prices to almost one-third above the historical average. When do Australian house prices start reverting back to the mean?
