One of the best updates announced to date and with typical understated excitement. I am quietly confident we will have an off-take partner in the not too distant future.  

The world’s largest high grade mutli-element deposit achieved: 99.9% graphite concentrate, 0.74% V2O5 vanadium pentoxide, 7% zinc concentrate and now titanium and other base metals.  

This latest update shows the TON Mozambique tenements are differentiating itself from SYR and are becoming a better, more substantial, multi-element deposit than even the TON Board would have first imagined.

Standard flotation achieves 95.8% to 97.3% TGC upgraded to 99.9% graphite concentrate using simple chemical wash. Vanadium grades of up to 0.74% V2O5 achieved. Zinc concentrate grades of up to 7% Zn achieved.  

Very low level of impurities confirmed in laboratory test work – standard flotation produces weighted average purity of 97.1% TGC, 2.7% Ash and 0.2% Volatiles without the need for chemical treatment.

Additional exploration targets discovered by VTEM survey – offer TON the opportunity to test for additional near-surface high grade graphite (>15% TGC) and with possibly different mineralogical characteristics to provide even more variety in the type of graphite concentrates that can be produced to cater for differing customers’ requirements.

“Nicanda Hill has the potential to become the world’s lowest cost and most reliable producer of high quality flake graphite”.

Potential offtake partners will be taking note of this latest announcement with interest.
