Problem for them Dex is that the policys they would be sticking to are mostly ones they denied they had, and when they did attempt to enact them they did so in a budget that did not share the load.
Just like the ALP before them they have been playing shite politics, its all their own doing and the punters feel betrayed. The ALP lie over the CO2 tax pales in comparison to the LIbs sweet of lies, they have painted themselves into a political corner. The ALP are just tacking advantage of the Libs problems, exactly as Abbot did to them. In reality we are litte better of than we where under the previous Govt.
They need to play smart politics which under Abbott appears unlikely, i dont know who they have that understands where they are at with the electorate but much like the ALP before them they appear plain out of touch.
There is still time for them to get it right. If they dont and leadership change looks necessary i doubt Turnbull will get another sniff as leader, he simp0ly is not far enough to the right for most of the caucus. Will be Interesting if and when Abbott goes.
