Prior to the previous lot of Labor ratbags Victoria was where most of the Prime Ministers came from where most of the captains of industry went to school, where most of the big companies were based, where most of the money and industry was, etc
So it is the former power house of Australian industry, plus the home of Australian Rules

Victoria is a shadow of it's former glory and still going down hill, you could also say it has been the home of the Labor left and the home of the most disruptive of the union movement.

Don't get your point. Vic is best of State/worst of State? Only the best comes out under Lib, worst Under Labor - is that your gist?
