Upgrade, yes this is what they have said that the kimberlite have indeed eroded to this level where the diamond concentration is most constant.
That is why the results of the 2500 odd tonne of kimberlite testing done so far has disappointed, if 251 was the pipe that they hoped for the results would have been much better.
They also significantly slowed down the testing last quarter when the weather was at its best compared to the preceding quarter.
IMO they need to reevaluate their kimberlite search and put more effort into it rather than going for the alluvials which to me seem to only get good grades when next to the old diggings and then when they extend the area for a bigger sample the grades drop off as happened at E46.
