How on Earth can you justify what was being done to our ambos and firies? As for a stolen dictaphone, when I lost my mobile phone in Spain I had no right to expect its return. In the Murdoch media phone hacking era who cares about the silly loss of an apparently high risk dictaphone?

As for the E-W Tunnel, Victorians have been spared an estimated $28b bill. That'll free up state finances to better and less expensively address Melbourne's growing congestion. Massive cities need more and more freeways directing traffic inwards like a hole in the head. The outer ring roads need to be connected but public transport desperately needs an overhaul that Napthine would never have been able to deliver.

Your right Lapdog. under ALP Victoria will not need the East west tunnel because business will decline over time not increase as projected. Inmo one of the main reasons the car companies closed diwn was because Victoria spent too much expanding and making our container port facilities too efficient and now it is cheaper for them to manufacture overseas and import quickly into the new Melbourne Ports and the new tunnel would have helped the importers ship stuff the Australia faster & more efficiently. Lets hope there are no other better pirts in Australia which could serve the importers better than Melb can do today. Imo it might be smarter for importers to deliver to richer states first to WA & QLD might be smarter than giving Lindsay Fox more trucking business from Melb ports.
I expect Melbourne Ports will go the way HairyJack story goes and many proposing to move to Victoria might change their minds and move to WA QLD. & maybe even NSW as time moves on.

As i see it the ALP will be living off the captives with old money in Victoria sucking it dry as new money wont even bother coming here to test the waters now the Green Commos have taken over like the Algie in the lakes to infect the rest.
I dont normally believe in conspiracies but me thinks the readon the LNP did not try to hard to win again is that they knew things wiuld get tougher and the needed a holiday on full pay and conditions which they will get while in opposition and thats why i dont trudt either side of Australuan politics anymore when both live off the sweat of others one lees than the other bith doing the same thing stealing money through higher & higher taxation turn Australia into Socialist Country without even the conservative voters realising whst is happening before their very eyes. Imo Vic wont need new TAFE's or more uni places because we will follow Europe with lots qualified people to export overseas as there wont be any real local jobs to go around as businesses close down or transfer to other states over time under your left wing Greens socialist state ideals.
