That's why I'm still working.
I'm only still mid 40's, plenty of time to get there.
The cash is there because I'm out of Oz for a time.
Doesn't mean I'm spending it nor living the high life.
But not having any debt at all is a good feeling.

To those who have accumulated enough to earn an income from those investments to live on, then I agree that is true freedom because your asset base presumably stays at or ahead of inflation and your income allows you to live confortably.

That to me would be the true definition of 'wealth'. I'm not there yet but doing much better than most I would wager.
