Hi Davin,

I wasn't suggesting that you were a front for a gambling company. I'm saying that alot of retail traders who open CFD accounts end up no better off than gamblers, since they generally lack the domain skill/ don't understand the risk- hence the bad name that's associated with CFD's in general. Therefore the last thing a typical retail trader wants to be doing is trading via a market maker model ,where there's less transparency. It's just common sense.

As you should also know, there's been some Disallowed type of trading company's/Academy's who setup shop in Australia, selling overpriced courses to naive retail investors- their marketing models always had an "experienced trader/s" as the front man. So my point was that fronting a financial institution behind an "experience trader" looks suspect. However I'm not suggesting that you company is illegitimate, your marketing strategy's just made me skeptical.

What names are you referring to? Are you suggesting that you're better than other providers? What CFD model do you follow? What sort of risk do you take on client orders? Are all your client orders matched with the underline, or do you maintain a discretionary bias as to how your orders are hedged??

Neo I took u off ignore as I noted plugger made further comment in reference to your stupid posts .

I stand bye my comments as from an American perspective cfd providers are termed bucketshops and Americans are not allowed to trade with them . It doesn't mean they are illegal in Australia and I note many hold there own licences or are white labeled off another .Neo Your arguments that folks should choose DMA providers only just don't hold up when the same firm offer a significant amount of instruments which are NOT DMA .

Looks like u buried yourself with Pluggers posts as u have no idea . It would of taken a 2 minute phone call or a 5 minute browse of their website to conclude Devin is not a front but infact is a director .

Back to NEO , I welcome comments from those who take the time to contribute to forums whether they are a director or employee of a firm but I don't take to kindly to moronic comments or folks shamelessly plugging their wares ,platforms , education or their business using anonymous posts . Many cfd providers drop in to this forum as they do to hc in general .
Some cfd providers over the years have employed lobbyists to promote or denigrate others and that was clearly shown when the FEDs were reviewing the rules /laws on cfd trading in Australia .

For the record and to show I have no bias . I have had or do have accts with CMC cfd's ,CMC share trading , Ig markets , Axi trader, Commonwealth securities , Citi , OEC futures , AMP futures , Bell futures ? or another similar with a name backin the 90's , sonray and probably more dating back to the early 1980's .
I am not recommending any of the above and worth noting some accts funded and never used or some never funded nor used and some closed when trading baddly in those accts .
