Thanks to all those who attended the AGM and provided feedback. Although it is disappointing that artimist has been delayed I believe now more than ever there is a need to get it out there. With the focus on the Ebola crisis the likelihood of malaria related deaths will increase. Those suffering with malaria are unlikely to seek treatment in clinics to avoid coming in contact with the Ebola virus. I don't believe we will be waiting too long into the new year before a deal is announced as with the rectal one.
From the presentation there were a number of points which were very positive
11 companies are in FULL DD
deal flows expected to ACCELERATE in 2015
they attracted the attention of companies who are listed in the TOP 10 pharmaceutical companies in the world.
They are talking to over 60 companies about their products.
The fact that they have 11 companies who are in a position to sign on the dotted line is just amazing.
Finally in one way I am glad that the deal that is going to be first is not artimist. As they have stated the market is around 500 million annually. The next closest is 5x that amount. From what people have been saying the initial $ value is likely to be less than 5million for an upfront fee. What hasn't been stated is milestone payments and royalty fees,When these are added into the mix the potential value of the company is going to increase significantly. It will also give an approximate dollar value to other deals that are in the pipeline.
Also of interest which product is going to be first my guess is suda 002. Reason being trials in over 300 people and possibility of registration. Anyone else have any thoughts on which product is going to be first.
