If the chart never lies, then why did you lose $78 on your recent MNS trade? If the chart never lies, why are you even in uni, and not instead trading your socks off, making $millions every week?

Would you like to know why? Because you are mistaking cause and effect. The chart never lies about what has happened, because that's exactly what it's a representation of. But the chart cannot tell you what is about to happen. No matter how current or detailed, a chart is a historical tool, not a forward predictor. If you believe it is, then please point me to all the chart posts across the global share markets in 2007 that spotted what was about to unfold (we've nicknamed it the GFC, perhaps you heard a lecturer speak of it?). Given the number of TA posters on HC alone, I am sure it won't be hard for you to point out all those chartists who predicted the immediate and medium term future at the time.

I am more than willing to give you credit, but not for a guess. I'd have been more impressed if you'd actually made money on your MNS trade, after doing so much chart interpretation and posting on it.
