I think he will by now have learned the fundamentals of commodity supply and demand (those infamous aggressive posters who dared challenge oil could go below $100), that in shale just as in conventional O&G production, location matters and scale counts.
It's far easier to draw maps and chant for management than it is to challenge management and benchmark the company against peers and neighbours.
