I said my value was between 5c to 30c LNG. I just said 10c because it was a nice round number. But reagrdless if it is 5c, !0c or even 30c that is not the issue. I also never stated that it was a guranteed to happen. The problem with only using fundamentals values only as a guage for working out what something is worth. There are just so many variables to consider. Everyone has a different idea of what something is worth. Based on their own way of interpreting the numbers, their attachment to the stock, or even what they heard from the local psychic. You can have one broker that has a strong buy on stock A. And another with a strong sell. I have seen this so many times. How can two people that are supposed to have the same numbers. Come up with two totally different values. Because value is what we want it to be. I have seen companies trading at $40 before, that are no longer in business now.
Something might be worth $7 now. In 3 months or 12 months. It could be chapter 11. There can be so many outside factors that can ulter the outcome in the future. Things that you, me, the brokers, institutions or even the owner of the buisness can not see or control. When i combine my charts with my values, I at least can work out what the people are thinking now. And not just what may happen in the distant future. I have seen good companies crash to virtually nothing. And rubbish rally into stratosphere. Why because of sentiment, reagrdless if it is right or wrong. You do what is happening and not what you want to happen.
