Whilst I think that these developments are unlikely to even get traction in the next few years, there is a very important positive I am taking away from these discussions. If the conversation has changed so dramatically in such an anti-nuclear country like Australia that our leader are at least open to considering nuclear, there is a real opportunity for super growth in nuclear power for other countries which are more open minded to nuclear power. The conversation around nuclear has undoubtedly changed for the better and it wouldn’t surprise me after the Japanese elections if the restarts are more quick paced in 2015 and China ramps up it’s nuclear plant approvals to pre-2011 levels.
