hanrahan, explain that more, flood side is always on the south?
The air mass and clouds around a cyclone rotate around the central core, what was once south will be soon north etc as it rotates.
If there is a heavy cloud bank to the south it will rotate to the north as the cyclone spinds and thus the south should be no worse then the north?
