I respect your right to debate peoples points of view, I dont however believe that you have the right to assume my motivation when I make comments.
I do not want a return of the status quo, I believe that SH was a dreadful piece of work. I also think that a lot of the ME leaders and especially tribally based one's are long way from what I would describe as fair and democratic leaders.
The point that bewilders me is that, despite the power that they wield, how the USA seems to blunder into situations time and time again. They seem to get themselves into "quagmires" time and time again, but still have an immense faith that their way will be the correct way despite views offered by other experienced parties.
Their military is highly mechanised and technically advanced,but, they seem to serially operate in a hamfisted way .
Yak, from what I have read on here, it appears you may have been to the funny place.......surely you like all other Aussie and Brit soldiers saw that which I am describing?
