The yanks bombed to japanese cities killing hundreds of thousands cicilians to bring to end a war that had gone on for several years that and that would have gone on far many years more and cost more lives.
Saddam had a couple of villages gassed which resulted in bring under control the Kurds who had been fighting a war for independance for around 100 years and even sided with Iran during the Iraq Iran war. Several thousand villages were killed by the gas attacks but nothing compared to the cost on both Iraq and Turkey from a long war with the Kurds.
So where is the difference Yak - apart from of in your little mind your heros are allowed to kill innocent civilians if it can be justified in saving other lives and bringing a war to an end but no one else can - but you are not a hypocrite are you.
The nuking of japanese cites and the gassing of kurdish villages both have deap moral issues but looking at the facts (something you try to avoid) it is not possible without being a hypocrit to critisize one act and at the same time support the other.
