    Vietnam was a minor skirmish in the long Cold War which the US won hands down when the Berlin wall tumbled and the Perestroika and Solidarity campaigns freed Eastern Europe.

    Whatever happened to;

    USSR
    E Germany
    Baltic States
    Indonesia
    Malaya
    and now China is moving to a free market economy leaving behind the poverty stricken

    Vietnam
    N Korea
    Cuba
