    Hi Chrysalis ,

    I agree with many things you say about property however I find the example of your niece interesting . Why do they want to live where they've chosen ? Do they have to live there ? They are kind of compounding the supply issue by buying there aren't they ?
    Why don't they relocate to a cheaper area ?

    People seem to think that they have an entitlement to live anywhere they want . If you look at our parents and grandparents stories you will find that they had to live where the work was . They didn't necessarily live where they wanted . Quite often they weren't the best areas .. It's only now that those areas are desirable and have gone from working class to middle class .

    You can see by the spread of our population that we are contributing to be the problem . Sure there are planning issues with that but no one is forcing people to buy a million dollar house when there are alternatives .
