I think the uncertainty around quantifying the impact and potential for ongoing problems is the issue.
From my reading online there have been major structural problems with electricity supply in Ghana for some time and the company would be well aware of the potential for load shedding.
In terms of other gold stocks, some of the better performers in the last week have been Australian producers who are benefitting from the huge fall in the Australian dollar.
In saying that Perseus is compelling value here because of long mine life, solid development project, low debt and good hedge.
