'Evolution is an "imaginary" instrument of the scientific community.' Your mind has solidified into scientific prejudice and error. It will take a supreme act of will to extract yourself from this pit of error.
It's your right to believe what you will.
All you need now is an explanation for the 200 odd different species of platypus found in the fossil record, including those found in South America. Fossil whales with legs. Modern whales with vestigial legs. A narrative for the constant stream of fossil dinosaur evidence. The growing hominid evidence. Pre Cambrian fossils. Cambrian fossils. Petrified trees. Shells on top of the Himalayan Mountains. Riversleigh fossil beds showing evolution over 5 million years or so. Mungo man bones dated to at least 30,000 in Australia. This is just a tiny, tiny flake of the millions of items of evidence that has to be accounted for if you are going to present the Creation story in the Bible as the basis for your belief.
If we were weighing evidence for both accounts on an imaginary scale, we would have several dozen words written 3 or 4,000 years ago on one side and the universe on the other side.
'My God is the Creator.'
Indeed, very Christian of you. Your God is the same God that gave intelligence to the scientist to discover scientific truth. Your God is the God of the atheist. Your God is the God who Created everything but not in six frenzied days. If every creature found in the fossil record appeared at the so-called moment of Creation, as per your understanding, they would have been standing on each others backs. Rivers would have been choked with platypus.
You may rail against evolution with your fingers in your ears and hum as loud as you like but that simply makes you an example of the wonderful range of human perception, understanding and belief. Your God is the Creator but there is no need to dismiss science in the process.
Literal Creationists do not praise God, in fact exactly the opposite. They merely express a gross misconception that is extraordinary in light of scientific knowledge. It has been a tactic of those seeking power over the masses to find an enemy. The enemy for believers in a literal Bible is evolution. The fossil evidence are the weapons of mass destruction.
We both believe in a Creator. Only one of us believes in a Creator that can be viewed through the lens of science and religion.
