dead hostages

I noticed in the news that some hostages were dead in Sydney.

The Australia government will need to compensate their families
These people are a victims of hatred which was incited from Australia
involvement in the middle east.

These Australians are non participating victims of war.

The government is as much responsible for their death as the gunman.

I'm thinking $10 million compensation to each family of the dead hostages and $4 million to each hostage.

If the government is going to start wars with extremists then it has a duty to protect the citizens.
It has failed.
