Seems I owe you an apology.(pretty sure it was you)
I spoke to an American work colleague.
He said it costs $300-400 dollars to visit a GP.
You could go to the public hospital but he said "he wouldn't advise it"
Also he said it cost his parents $20 000 -30 000 a year for insurance..
Doesn't sound like a great system to me but he couldn't answer me when I asked why the Americans vote against universal heath care.
